PURPOSE:
Community demands loving concern. This is what we are all about - developing community -
but at a very particular loving, sharing , vulnerable moment when someone experiences a
loss. The loss of a loved one is probably one of the most emotional experiences humans can
have.Because of this, it is natural that the parish community can be most effective and
needed.
The parish, other than family, is the most personable unit of community. Therefore the
parish, if positively experienced, is like a family. So it is our desire to demonstrate
that this can be a very touching, rewarding feeeling, loving time for all concerned. It
can also be a time to strengthen or renew weakened or lost faith. It can turn a grieving
time into a time of joy, by letting people experience true community.
Our goals are simple, to share ourselves with one another - to share our compassion, love
and Christiaity with our fellow parishioners in order to make the burden of their pain
easier to bear.
