Education

Christ the King School

Christ the King’s award–winning elementary and middle school is a place where young lives are cherished and developed under the core values of:

  • Faith embodied
  • Family embraced
  • Confidence instilled
  • Learning inspired
  • Achievement celebrated

Christ the King School offers a complete education from pre–school (three and four years old) to kindergarten and on through eighth grade. The school meets the standards of both the Diocesan and New York State curriculum, and at the same time works to meet the needs of the whole student.

Extra–curricular activities include a variety of athletics programs for both girls and boys, an outreach program, and an after–school program for students in K–8. Please contact Principal, Mr. Samuel Zalacca at 839–0473.

Parents Guild

An association of the parents of students who attend Christ the King School, the Parents Guild assists the pastor, principal, and teachers in support of the student body. The Guild works to help the educational and spiritual growth of the children, and also organizes a number of social activities throughout the year to promote community spirit within the parish. The Guild meets on Thursdays, once every month, at 7:00 p.m., in the school library. All Christ the King parents are encouraged to attend. Please contact the rectory at 839–1430.
