Bishop’s Committee
This women’s discussion group meets one evening each month (October to May) in members’ homes. Discussion topics are provided by the Diocese. Topics have included prayer, virtues, service, commitment, and family. Typical discussions last about an hour and a half, followed by refreshments. Please contact the rectory, 839–1430.

Holy Name Society
This is a group for men of the parish who come together in fellowship. Members and their families are encouraged to attend the 8:00 a.m. Mass on the second Sunday of each month, sit in the front of the church, and stay for refreshments after Mass. Society members also attend wakes of deceased men of the parish and recite a decade of the rosary. Holy Name also sponsors an annual mini-retreat during Lent, open to all parishioners. The group also conducts and sponsors social events within the parish. Please contact Tim Herzog, 998–4502.
Marriage Preparation (Pre-Cana)
Pre-Cana is a very special program for engaged couples who wish to enter into the Sacrament of Marriage. It is run by a married couple and offers insights into Catholic teaching on marriage along with all aspects of married life. The ministry follows an agenda approved by the diocese that guides discussion of important marriage issues. The actual program consists of one full-day session; the sessions are offered four times throughout the year. Please contact Donna & David Ortolani, 633–9908.
Men’s Monday Night Prayer Group

Rosary and Altar Society
A devotion to Mary, the Mother of God, is the hallmark of this women’s group. They seek to promote the spiritual welfare of their members by reciting the Rosary on the First Friday of each month. Traveling Statues Jesus and Mary
This program began at Christ the King in 1971. It encourages families to recite the Rosary and helps to deepen spirituality in the home. A family may receive the statues for one week, during which time they should be displayed and the family may pray in a way that is meaningful to them. Families often request the statues to help celebrate holidays, holy days, birthdays, and anniversaries. Please contact Pat Weissman at 839–1285.
